The Lighting ceremony of the Olympic Flame for the XXIII winter Olympic Games “PyeongChang 2018” will be held tomorrow, October 24, at 12.00 at the ancient stadium of Olympia.
During a meeting that took place earlier today, the Hellenic Olympic Committee unanimously decided that the ceremony would be held tomorrow at the ancient stadium as usually despite bad weather forecast. Of course minor changes in the programme of the ceremony are likely to be made.
The dress rehearsal of the Lighting ceremony was held this morning with great success and under great weather conditions.
