The Hellenic Olympic Committee was awarded twice in the first Sports Marketing Awards in Greece.
The HOC President, Spyros Capralos and the Secretary General, Manolis Kolympadis received together the award for HOC's contribution in the greek sports. In addition, the HOC received the gold award in the Marketing Strategy category for the successful programme “Adopt an athlete on the way to Rio 2016” which secured the financial funding of more than 50 athletes during their preparation for the "Rio 2016" Olympic Games.
During the event, the HOC President presented the new project of the HOC entitled "Adopt an Athlete on the way to Tokyo 2020".
